We had Drew and Katie's birthday party here at home on May 15th and invited friends and family for the big celebration. They are both really into pirates and love this show "Jake and the Neverland Pirates". Drew and Katie have given everyone names from the show--- Drew is Jake, Katie is Cubby, I am Izzy and Andy is Scully (the parrot!). They wanted to wear costumes to the party...check them out!

I feel so lucky that so many of our friends from NYC were able to come celebrate with us. It was so fun seeing all the little kids running around having fun. After having spent 6 years here, we made some wonderful friends that I know will be in our life even after we move to Maryland. This year, I decided to have a joint family and friends party (we usually do two separate parties). I was so excited when just about every member of my extended family made the trip to NYC to be here with us. It was really nice to have my family all together to see a glimpse of our life here in the big city. Because I was busy with so many people in our tiny NYC apartment, I did a horrible job of taking pictures of the big day!
