Funny little people.

Drew and Katie have started setting up their slippers next to their bunk beds before they go to bed.  I snuck in (again) tonight to take a picture.

Flowers around the house

Katie and Drew sitting on their favorite bench in our front yard.
One of Drew and Katie's favorite things to do at our new house is water the flowers.  We have lots of flowers and plants in the front and back yard and I get daily reminders how they all need water and sunshine to grow.

My friend Jenny visited us and brought us these beautiful flowers.

I love sitting at our kitchen table and looking out the windows to our back yard where there are lots of flowers, trees, and birds.  Gram gave Drew a bird watching book that he is really into. Whenever he sees a bird, he runs and gets the book to learn about that particular bird.  So far, his favorite is the oriole.

My friend Janinne sent us this gorgeous orchid that we placed in our sunroom.

One of our favorite rooms in the house is the sunroom. I am still figuring out how we are going to use each room, and most of them don't have any furniture in them.  For now, the sunroom is filled with puzzles, books and board games and we all love to just sit in there, look out the windows and play.

Grandparents rule!

I never could have done everything (taking care of three little ones after a third c-section and moving when Emily was only 10 days old) without my mom and dad. Mom and Dad did whatever they could think of that made it easier for me and the kids.

Since Andy had to work every day (except the day Emily was born), Mom and Dad took care of the kids in Collingswood while we were in the hospital.   Those few days were during the hottest days of the summer when temperatures were constantly 100 degrees plus.  The kids cooled off in Roberts Pool, Poppy's backyard pool, bike rides around town, going to the beach, and of course by eating as many slurpees  and ice cream treats as Poppy could get by Grandmom's watchful eye.  They had a blast!

Then mom stayed with us in NYC to help get ready for the move and help me take care of the kiddos.  The arrival of sweet Emily and the move went off extremely well and it is without a doubt because of Mom and Dad's help.  Thank you to the best parents and grandparents in the world. I love you so much!

Poppy's elaborate backyard setup. D and K loved it!

Drew and Katie love Emily

Katie loves to hold Emily's hand.

Drew absolutely adores his Emily and plays with her  whenever she is awake.

He likes to mimic what she is doing...which is not much when you are only a few days old!

He figured out that she will suck on his nose if he puts it up to her mouth!
Emily doesn't seem to mind that D and K are always SO CLOSE to her!

Emily's time in the hospital

Emily and I spent three nights in the hospital (we were let out early for excellent behavior) while Drew and Katie went to Collingswood with Grandmom and Poppy and Andy went to work.  I loved my time with Emily in the hospital because I was able to give her all of my attention, give her lots of cuddles and kisses and get to know her.

Cuddle time.

Drew and Katie were always watching over their little sister.

Daddy came to visit everyday.

I love the bows the nurses make for the baby girls.

The going home outfit that Grandmom bought Emily.

Emily's first day

I realized that I didn't post any pictures from when I was in the hospital with Emily.  So, here you go!

I am so lucky to have had my mom and dad and grandmom and grandpop with me on the day that all three of my children were born.  Wow...what a wonderful family!  Drew and Katie were so happy to spend the day with everyone but they couldn't wait to meet baby Emily!

Prepped for surgery and ready to meet my baby!

Proud daddy moments after his daughter was born.
Our first picture together just after she was born!

Happy parents.

Proud grandparents!

Happy to have all three of my children together.

Lots of love for Emily!

Where they sleep...

We are in our new home and we all absolutely love it.  I will post lots of pictures and updates soon.

The other big news is that Drew and Katie now sleep in bunk beds!   Katie was climbing in and out of her crib anyway and we needed a new bed for Drew so the timing worked out well.  I bought them matching blankets with shark sheets for Drew and fish sheets for Katie.  This morning Drew woke up first and came downstairs on his own to find me.  An hour later, Katie came downstairs as well.  I just cannot believe how big they are getting!

I snuck in tonight while they were sleeping to take this picture!
A quick Emily update: she is the easiest baby!  She sleeps and eats and sometimes is awake enough to watch her sister and brother kiss her, sing to her, and play around her. She hardly ever cries and is a very happy baby.  However, she is VERY noisy at night! She makes these loud grunting noises all night long.  Andy and I wake up all night long hearing her and sometimes rush over to her bassinet to see if she is okay and she is sound asleep. It is very funny!

Emily, 2 weeks old, asleep in her bassinet. Beautiful!
