A trip to Essex, CT

My in-laws have a condo in Essex, CT and my parents and I decided to take a trip this past week with Drew and Katie.  We were all excited to spend a few days exploring the area and seeing family and friends.   The condo is right on the Connecticut River and we got lucky with beautiful weather.  My brother-in-law and sister-in-law live one mile down the road from the condo and we had them and their  children Mac, Mackenzie and Madison over for cake and ice cream the first night. Drew and Katie had so much fun playing with their cousins. On the second night, we had my friend Jen and her children, Julia and Andrew over for dinner.  Since Mac had basketball practice, we invited Mackenzie and Madison over again for dinner.  What a full house!
